“My partner has no empathy”

What could be going on

Attunement: Check whether he misses your feelings generally or only when they're about him.

Alexithymia: He may struggle to name and read emotions, including his own; check whether he's blank about himself too.

Autism in adults: Some care deeply but don't read cues; check whether he helps practically once told plainly.

Grandiose narcissism: Fits if lack of empathy comes with superiority and a need for admiration.

Emotional numbing: Fits if he's numb across life, perhaps after stress or trauma.

Psychopathy: Fits only with broad callousness, lack of remorse and using people across his life.
